Bak Chung or Ham Yoke Chung

Tried to make some Chung today and they did not turn out good. The wrapping of the Chung was more difficult than I imagine and I watched so many YouTube vidoes on "How to Wrap a Chung" They were very blend, no taste and not salty enough. In fact the Chung was tasteless. Next week I will try again and this time I am going to put more filling and salt.

Sis said: good trial. Try eating it with some sugar. While in HK, had chung with only plenty of mung beans, egg yolk and a bit of fatty pork. I love that kind of chung.

I was scared to put too much salt and unable to find the salted egg york here and the fatty pork, which I love in a chung was too unhealthy for me. Next time I will put in some mung beans.

maybe in the chinese store. I am sure you remember that the mung beans in the chung are without the skin.
