My flowers

Banana trees, my bonsai hibiscus plant, verbana and petunia

My mosquito plant

Used to be a fountain, was too much problem to refill water and clean the algae, so it is now a flower planter

All these were taken in April, since then I have added a lot of flowers and sunflowers.

Will take more this weekend

Thanksgiving

My feast, cooked for a few hours, a few minures to chow down and eat leftovers for the whole week.  The pictures are not very good.
Mine is a lazy man cooking, all in aluminium pan, from the stove to the table and fridge, save washing dishes and looking for containers to store the left overs.
Mash potatoes in a pot
The green bean casserole, have to cook two type one from canned beans and the other fresh beans
The sausage, apple, wild rice stuffing with dried cranberries
Buddy, the first one to take his place
The baked yam with marshmallows
We cook a turkey breast this year.
Thats my feast for this year, Nothing special.

Buddha

This Buddha I bought some years ago and he must sit high and have no clutter around him so I place him on the fireplace mantel.  There is a butterfly in his hands and it is a real butterfly. It landed on the windshield wiper of John's truck while he was crossing the bridge. JJ remove it and instead of throwing it away, we place it in the Buddha's hands, maybe to give it life again :)  Its wings are still intact.
